sal·vage
noun
A collectible that has endured time, movement, ownership, and history

Our Story
It was connection.
It’s about survival
Empires collapse.
Wars leave scars behind.
Every vehicle.
Every worn box or incomplete piece that still exists today does so because someone chose to hold onto it, care for it, and eventually pass it along.
We aren’t curators
We don’t collect to lock things away. We hold onto them for a while, knowing that one day they’ll move on to the next person who recognizes their value.

Hello there
My name is Jorge Martinez. I’m the founder and product designer behind Salvage Toys. I built it to document my own Star Wars collection and to have a place where I could thoughtfully showcase and sell pieces to other collectors.
Growing up, I always wanted some small connection to the Star Wars universe. Collecting became that connection. These objects made the galaxy feel tangible—something you could hold, examine, and live with, not just watch on a screen.
Salvage Toys lives at the intersection of thoughtful design and serious collecting. It’s shaped by familiarity with the hobby, respect for the objects themselves, and an understanding of how collectors actually interact with their collections over time.
Like many collectors, I see myself as a temporary steward. These pieces outlast us. They move on to the next person who recognizes their value.
If you believe these relics deserve more than a generic listing, you’re in the right place.
